IRIS COLON Obituary

On June 16, 1950 Aida Iris Colon was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico to the late Emilia Figueroa and Angel Colon. She was the eighth of nine children born to this beloved marriage. Aida migrated to the United States and started her career as a home attendant she then found her passion working in retail. As she always loved helping and taking care of everyone. She then retired to give and share time with her grandson.

Aida leaves behind her memory and mourn the loss of her physical presence: Her beloved children: Emily Astacio and Jose Velez. Grandchildren: Melanie Velez, Natalie Velez and Nathan Santana.Sisters: Isabelle Llerras (deceased), Felicita Quijano, Sabina Guzman and Angela Alvira. Brothers: Vicente Colon (deceased), Hector Colon (deceased), Jesus Colon and Roberto Colon
